Nightfall Pictures’ primary purpose has been producing commercial feature films in the horror and fantasy genres.
Alongside making movies, we have offered various services over the years to clients from all over the world. Thanks to our experiences in all aspects of film development and production, we offer full “script to screen” packages, from concept to completion and further on, to distribution. All of the films produced through Nightfall have been handled in this way.
We can can help you through one phase of the filmmaking process or guide you step by step to each part of the process based on your needs.

SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT/SCREENWRITING
Need someone to turn your idea into a saleable, ready-to-shoot screenplay? Maybe your script needs a rewrite or polish? Or a brief consultation to provide helpful notes?
Award-winning screenwriter and author Brad Sykes can do all that and more. With over twenty produced credits to his name, plus years of experience developing concepts, completing rewrites for established production companies, teaching at various film schools in the LA area and workshops, Mr. Sykes combines discipline and creativity in all his writing endeavors. He can guide you and offer you personalized advice and solutions to make your script into a movie!
BUDGETING/SCHEDULING
So, you have a script you’re happy with. But what about turning those pages into a living, breathing movie? The next step is to create a schedule and budget, which potential investors/executive producers will want to see.
Producer Josephina Sykes has years of experience budgeting and scheduling features for established production companies at all budgets, from indie to studio level. Besides creating a budget and a schedule for your project as a package for your investors, Josephina can also offer her consulting services to help make your movie become a reality.
PRODUCTION SERVICES
As you move into Pre-Production, Producer Josephina Sykes can assist with crewing up (union and non-union), working with SAG and name talent, and negotiating the best deals on locations and with other vendors. During Production, she brings her years of on-set experience as assistant director, line producer, and production manager to the table, having shot on location locally in Los Angeles, out-of-state, and extensively throughout Romania. Josephina can organize your shoot while problem solving and embracing all the challenges. On top, she brings all her films in on time and on budget. Or she can consult for your production and guide it toward putting your movie "in the can".

DIRECTING
Looking for an experienced director for your upcoming film?
Director Brad Sykes has over twenty features under his belt, many of them in the horror/thriller genre. Brad's films can be purchased and streamed at outlets like Netflix, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Google Plus, etc. His films have also sold around the world in territories such as the UK, France, Germany, Greece, Thailand, Japan, etc.
Brad has worked on all budget levels, has experience working with name talent, and enjoys working with Producers in bringing the most production value to the screen.

POST-PRODUCTION SUPERVISION
Over the years of making many horror and fantasy movies, Nightfall has established ongoing relationships with small independent editing houses, sound studios, post house facilities, post sound mixers, composers and visual effects houses. This is how we are able to lend such strong overall production value to our own movies and we can bring it to your project, too. We can help by supervision your movie during post-production and work with your budget to completion!
DISTRIBUTION
You've completed your movie, got great response and want to send it into the world, what is the next step? Josephina and Brad have established relationships over the years with many distribution companies and foreign agents. We can help you get your movie seen by getting it released worldwide. We can also guide you through the process of acquisition and deliveries (technical and creative) and/or perform that service as a package deal!
ROMANIAN PRODUCTION SERVICES
More productions are going overseas to save money, and for years, Romania has been one of the most popular destinations for studio and mid-range budget indie films. Nightfall Pictures offers Consulting and On-location Production Services for producers interested in shooting in Romania.
Romanian native, Producer Josephina Sykes has worked in Production for major studios in Romania and has consulted with US-based companies planning shoots there. She has continued partnerships with local production services companies alongside freelance crew and vendors. She can set it up your movie in Romania and consult through all its stages.
